The home team at the European Universities Rugby 7s Championship, the University of Lisbon, won the national university championship of Portugal on wednesday afternoon. The championship served as a test event for the European.

The EUSA competition will take place between 28 and 31 August at the Lisbon University Stadium, in the portuguese capital. Seventeen teams will participate in the event, 6 female and 11 male.
